Torn cruciate ligament new procedure (TSL*)

*CoLS Classic system (Tape locking screw) is called TLS in Europe

TLS is an innovative system from the DIDT surgical procedure that makes it possible to limit the harvesting of bone and preserve the tendinous capital. Actually, DIDT usually requires the harvesting of two tendons fixed to each other so as to obtain enough resistance to keep length for fixation, whereas TLS allows to harvest only one tendon which, thanks to a specific system is stressed and kept under traction to reach the required length to be doubled.

This procedure is widely performed at the Clinique SaintPrivat at Boujan sur Libron
– Near Béziers in the Hérault –

During surgery :

After surgery :

  • The patient can leave the clinic 4 days after surgery
  • Fast recovery of amplitudes without limitation
  • Extreme solidity of the system
  • Possibility to accelerate rehabilitation after operation
